A evening stroll in the yard
Washington D.C. isn't the only place there are cherry blossoms! This looks promising for a bountiful harvest this year!
Tom's first mow of the season- Sam and I gave it the first cutting of the season last week while Tom was in Kentucky/Tennessee last week.
Everything is just so beautiful! The forsythia and dogwood compliment each other.
Ernie Finney bought us the dogwood when he and Irene were down visiting Crit in Kentucky, several years ago while Tom was down there holding a meeting. Trees are more special when associated with special people or events. We have several that are sentimental. Our sycamore (not pictured) is from Grandpa Proudfit's yard.
A closer peek at the dogwood blooms.
The tulips are just about done- these doggedly come up every year, despite being maltreated by me when I go digging around.
Now all we lack are some people to romp around in the yard!!!

Your yard looks FAB!!! Love the music touch too! It's so inspiring!!!
I loved your pictures! Spring is my favorite season for this very reason. I have been taking a lot of pictures, I'll have to post some soon. The redbud has now bloomed. We've had bad storms again last night, but this morning is beautiful!!!!!!!1
Lovely! We've been enjoying our little dwarf (all we have room for) fruit trees' blossoms, too. We have one cherry, it's a replacement of last year's which died (didn't like our nasty heavy soil), so we hope this one survives (it looks better than last year's already, we think).
Thanks for posting those pics! I really miss our yard. So perfect for strolling around in.
Great picture of Tom thru the tree blooms. It reminds me of my Dad mowing with his hat and longsleeves on. Tell Tom, to be really cool like my dad, that he needs to add ear plugs and a face mask.
